Now is your chance to have the perfect excuse to dress up for an evening out kid-free, enjoy a nice meal and the company of other business individuals from throughout the Redwood Falls area. On February 3, 2024, the Redwood Area Chamber will be hosting the 27th Annual Meeting and Chamber Dinner at the Dacotah Exposition Center at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel. There’s still plenty of time to get your tickets to join us!
Why Attend the Chamber Gala?
We get it. It can be a lot of preplanning to get a night away without responsibilities but we promise there is fun to be had! The Annual Gala will have live entertainment from the Redwood Valley High School Jazz Band (apparently they are a must-see for young talent!). Attend with your friends and you’ll get a night out with a four-course meal and support a good cause. The Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism Annual Chamber Gala is their largest fundraiser of the year that supports their ongoing work of workforce and community development projects throughout the year.
Sweetman Sanitation Chamber Gala Nominations
In the spirit of thanking those in the community who have welcomed us and our family-owned and operated business, we wanted to take a moment to thank those who went out of their way to nominate us for a few different Chamber Gala awards at this year’s festivities.
Sweetman Sanitation, including all of us (Ray, Dominic, Shannon and Jon), were nominated for the Star Entrepreneur Award. This award recognizes individuals who have followed their vision, and through determination and grit, are achieving success as a small business owner. This award also recognized individuals who give themselves through time, talents and resources to benefit the community.
The one and only Ray Sweetman was nominated for the Shining Star Award. This award recognizes an established business person who has provided a service to the community over the years and also gives to their community to benefit the community.
Redwood County Pheasants Forever, as many of you know we all have a part in as well, has also been nominated for The Greater Good Award. This award recognizes a nonprofit that pledges their organization's time, talents and resources to benefit the community.
We greatly appreciate the nominations and recognition for our devotion to helping others in our community through our work, play and volunteer time.
