Together, we can keep the variety of small businesses we have in Redwood, Renville and Yellow Medicine Counties alive through support. One organization we truly enjoy supporting is the Wabasso Roadhouse Roll Ins.
The Roadhouse Bar & Grill
The Roadhouse Bar and Grill located in Wabasso, Minnesota is home to the Wabasso Roadhouse Roll Ins. This unique motorcycle themed restaurant is known for their fully loaded menu and food options. They have also made quite the name for themselves in their catering options as well.
Roadhouse Menu
When it comes to the Roadhouse Menu, you will struggle to find another place with over 150 burgers and sandwiches with names after cars and motorcycles. [Anyone up for the challenge to try them all?] The Roadhouse staff enjoys finding new burger and sandwich options and rotating them based on seasonal availability and taste. You’ll also find wraps, salads, pizzas, breakfast Monday through Saturday and more. The Roadhouse is also a local favorite for catering weddings and events such as Guns and Diamond Bingo.
Wabasso Roadhouse Roll Ins
Each summer starting at the beginning of June and running through the end of August, Wabasso Roadhouse Bar and Grill hosts their infamous roll ins every Tuesday night. In years past, Roadhouse has seen up to 3,500 people at a roll in with people traveling as far as California and Arizona including groups from the Twin Cities.
Community Service Projects by the Roadhouse
The owners and employees of Roadhouse have similar beliefs to us at Sweetman Sanitation and believe in giving back to their communities. One example of this is their work with the Lutheran Social Services providing over 150 seniors boxed lunches during the week. These meals are delivered to over 12 different towns throughout Redwood County. Hosting fundraising events for a variety of organizations throughout the Wabasso area is also common for the Roadhouse. A recent addition to their community involvement is the Cruising for Kids initiative.
Cruising for Kids
Cruising for Kids is a 501C3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing supportive services to children and their families with chronic illnesses in Redwood County. The organization provides financial support to youth with a diagnosed chronic illness to help ease the financial burden for them and their families. Diane and the Roadhouse have always felt passionate about giving back to the community, and this foundation helps them do just that.
Families in need are urged to submit an application for assistance with payment sent directly to their vendor of choice. Applications and donations can be made at the Roadhouse or online.
