Who doesn’t love the excuse to help support a local nonprofit organization while also having fun doing it? Each year at the Redwood County Pheasants Forever Annual Banquet we welcome everyone to come out, have fun and take your shot at winning some great prizes. This year will be no different! In case we haven’t enticed you enough, here’s some more information about the Annual Banquet held this year at Redwood Area Community Center Hockey Arena on March 23, 2024 with doors opening at 4:30pm.
Why We Support Pheasants Forever
In our family, we’re passionate about the outdoors. We certainly enjoy a good pheasant hunt with the dogs. The Redwood County Chapter of Pheasants Forever is a great organization that not only supports our hunting heritage and our future hunters but also is a great supporter of conservation in our area.
One of our favorite things about Redwood County Pheasants Forever is that every year, they help out all the high school trap teams in Redwood County to include Cedar Mountain, Red Rock Central, Wabasso and Redwood Area Schools.
It’s All in the Family
Several of the Sweetmans are on the board but it’s not just those that serve on the board that are at the event. Any guesses on how many Sweetmans show up to volunteer at the event? We’d likely have to use both hands and our feet to get a count! Of course, that includes the in-laws but technically they are still Sweetmans so we still count them.
Come Join Us
Not only does the Pheasants Forever support a good cause, it's a really good time for the whole family. There’s kids activities, lots of raffles, great food from Baune’s Catering, the American Legion brings a bar in, and there’s all kinds of different prizes and auction items to win including JJ Jewelers jewelry! However, the most exciting part for those of us that are passionate about the outdoors and our hunting heritage is that they give away over 50 guns from River Valley Arms and Ammo that night! We really hope to see you guys there. Grab your tickets on the Redwood County Pheasants Forever website here.
